1962 Pontiac Grand Prix

Work In Process...

The motor was pulled to replace the dried up rope rear main seal.  The intake setup was swapped from a single four barrel to a tri-power setup.  The entire block was painted the proper Pontiac blue and the manifolds coated in a stainless paint.

This is the way it used to be...

  • Three speed heavy duty synchro-mesh transmission, shift on the column.

  • 389 cubic inch engine with a four barrel carburetor that produces about 303 horsepower.

  • Dual exhaust, bucket seats, a center console that does not extend beyond the bucket seats, a floor mounted tachometer where it would ordinarily be on a full console. Car has 54000 original miles.

  • Silver blue with black interior.
